Adding Custom Instructions

In the Instructions field, you can specify exactly what you want in your treatment plan and any stylistic instructions you have.

Example Instructions

Here are some ways you can customize your treatment plan:

  • "Build a treatment plan with 3 goals, 2 objectives per goal, and 1 intervention per objective" - Specifies the exact structure and quantity of each element

  • "Use psychodynamic and CBT oriented interventions" - Focuses on specific therapeutic modalities that match your clinical approach

  • "Tie all goals with measurable symptom reduction as related to the diagnosis" - Ensures goals are diagnosis-specific and include measurable outcomes

  • "Format for insurance submission to [specific payer]" - Tailors the plan for particular insurance requirements

Applying Formatting from Previous Plans

If you want a specific format to be generated, the best way is to upload a previous treatment plan you've written.

To Upload a Reference Plan:

  1. Click the "Drop file to begin upload" area at the bottom of the customization screen

  2. Select a PDF file from your computer (maximum size: 1GB)

Tenor will analyze the formatting, structure, and style of your uploaded plan and your new treatment plan will follow the same formatting conventions.
