Announcing Tenor's Transition

Overview

Tenor is joining forces with Grow Therapy to bring our clinical support and technology to a broader community of therapists and clients.

As part of this transition, we have made the difficult decision to wind down the Tenor product itself and focus our efforts on building directly within the Grow Therapy platform. This article explains what’s changing, what’s staying the same for now, and what actions you may need to take.

What’s happening?

Tenor is joining Grow Therapy, and our team will be continuing our work there. Rather than operating Tenor as a standalone product, we will be embedding what we’ve learned into Grow Therapy’s platform and clinician tools.

Because of this shift:

  • The Tenor product will be sunset

  • No new features will be added to Tenor

  • Our focus during this period is stability, support, and data access

When will Tenor shut down?

  • Tenor will remain fully operational through February 28, 2026

  • You can continue using Tenor as usual until that date

  • After February 28, 2026, Tenor will no longer be accessible

What happens to my data?

Your data belongs to you, and safeguarding it during this transition is our highest priority.

  • You can export all of your data from Tenor before shutdown

  • We strongly recommend exporting your data as early as possible

  • Any data not exported before shutdown will be permanently and irrevocably deleted

What should I do now?

We recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Begin exporting your data as soon as possible

  2. Verify that your exported files are complete and securely stored

  3. Plan for documentation workflows after Tenor shuts down

  4. Review alternative clinical scribe or documentation tools, if needed

Will Tenor integrate with Grow Therapy?

No. Tenor will not continue as a standalone product within Grow Therapy. Our team is focused on building new capabilities directly into the Grow Therapy platform rather than maintaining a separate Tenor experience.

Can I access Tenor after February 28, 2026?

No. After February 28, 2026:

  • Tenor accounts will be deactivated

  • The product will no longer be accessible

  • Any data not previously exported will be permanently deleted
